Mostly we work with regular starting groups. So we have 12 different afternoon groups for children from the age of 5 up to 15. Every group starts in a different area outside the city of Darmstadt or somewhere around. All these groups run every second week for 3 hours, so children have the possibility to stay over years in their group and learn lots about nature and wildlife throughout all seasons and over the year. Some of our kids have been with us for 10 years now.

In the morning we offer our programs to regular school groups and kindergartens. Kindergarten groups mostly come regularly with the same children once or twice a month. So these children also have the possibility to learn for 2 years about nature. For kindergarten we make similar programs, but more focused on enjoying nature, games, feeling and watching.
School groups normally come for one special event. Teachers or educators can book a program to learn more about ecology as part of a conservation program or a variety of outdoor-activities like tree climbing.      Fotogallery

For a few years now, the Outdoor-School have offered hikes for kids and youth up to Northern Scandinavia, sometimes up to the Arctic Circle and family tours to the rainforests at the westcoast of BC, Canada. Staying in real wilderness with everything you need in your own backpack is a great experience. Getting wet, sometimes not having enough to eat, being so tired,that you can sleep anywhere even in a railway-station or on the ferry, no tv or radio. That´s all totally new for the children. Trips like this can change you for ever.
